I noticed 2 of my kittens in the past and present, when surprised would puff out their fur and do a crab walk thing. Any one experience this with their cats?

oh yes, jasper does that too! and he's often pouncing on tommy (our first and oldest cat) to wrestle with him. quite fun to watch 
and bec we got him off the streets, i think he's still finding the house very interesting with so many nooks and corners to explore.
one morning i found him sleeping on my bathroom scale - i think the indicator barely moved! unlike when I'm on it!  |
