Yes..up to the breeder to register with any cat body of their like..such as CFA, TICA, FIFe..and many other their local bodies..Some even register their cat into both bodies. Please ask your breeder whether they register their cat into few bodies or If the breeder have two different breeds they may register one breed with said body and the other breed to other bodies.

Many of this bodies recognize each other so..if u want to re register to other body, u can do that (provide all documents completed and conditions apply) such as..if you have FIFe register cat u can re register under CFA.

In Malaysia, we only have two main clubs :

1. Feline Society of Malaysia - CFA
2. Malaysian Cat Club - FIFe
