yeah..do you think BYB and Pet Shop cares about the cats health??. Even if you pay RM500 for DLH, i believe you're supporting them to make more kitten mills. In my case, i rather save my money and buy rm2500 pedigree then buy a RM 500 DLHs,which i didn't know their health status, temperament.

Over supply, doesn't mean you can see DLHs walking everyone..over supply can be mean you have 20 pet shop (selling DLHs)..instead we should down it to less then 5 or zero if possible.

Last time, when i didn't know anything about cats..the time when i call 'longhair' is a 'persian' and 'shorthair' is 'kucing kampung', i went to every single petshop that i know to get my 'persian'..know what..i NEVER SEEN any of them are well taken care...and i nearly pay RM1500 for a so called 'persian'. When i know a little about cat fancy through reading..i went to see few breeders that really dedicated their time to cat fancy...and i personally agreed even they sells their cats for rm2000 over..but they never actually make money...and even i have to pay more...i'm satisfied with their health guarantee, temperament etc.

and to mind you, all these dedicated breeders they not just simply mate male and female..they have to study about the genetic, background etc to produce a better cats (within their breed), better temperament and awesome health and they can tell you most everything about their breeds. can you?
