Well - not even that! Brits and CHA can have either copper or orange eyes, but Brits can also have green, odd, blue - depends on the coat colour and pattern.
They used to be intermateable in Europe, but that practice officially stopped in Nov '77. "Officially" is the operative word - there's still a fair whack of mixed pedigree if you trace back. The USA has created a rather different breed out of the CHA and it is very distinctive..moreso than the original (if you can still call them that!) European CHA.
