U must take care of yourself too, otherwise U cannot take care of anyone, not even a cat! Keep calm and steady, do not panic unnecessarily, keep a clear head, get lots of rest 'cos U will feel the mental and emotional strain. Don't forget to eat and drink well, tumbang nanti satu masalah lain pulak ...

The ops itself sekejap aje, but there is the preparation stage. After the ops selesai, they will observe the vital signs and wait to ensure that yr pet regains consciousness and only when they r confident all the vital signs r ok, will they release yr pet to U. And after that it is up to U ...

As in any operation, the first 24 hours is vital/critical. I keep on jenguk my pet every half hour/hour to check if it urinate and wet the newspaper, whether it is lying on wet/soiled stuff, etc and change it immediately. That is why I suka buat pada hari Sabtu, boleh observe the first 24 hour at home.

After 3-4 days, yr pet will be more biasa (active). But still need to be caged to restrict movement, takut kena cakar by the others in playfight or get dirty wandering around and dirt gets stuck to wound. I cage for full 14 days take kira siapa and even though mereka dah already nampak ok.
