The Balinese is the long haired version of the Siamese, just like the Javanese is the long haired version of Color Point Shorthairs.

It would be best that you get the cat registered and pedigrees given. The Siamese is an acceptable outcross to the Balinese.

ETA: Is your cat Long Haired or Short Haired? Either way, if your breeder is registered with CFA then the cat will be registered as Balinese, not Siamese.
