i must say that family planning is the best thing that ever happen to human population... imagine if no such thing as family planning, the only way to avoid overcrowding is by killing (god forbid!), natural disaster, disease and old age... our standard of living also must be very bad...
nowadays we human tend to have lesser children because of high standard of living and wanting to provide as best as we can... previously, we human have more children because no family planning and many families can sustain themselves (read : farm life)
cats on the other hand, are different from us. they breed for survival of their species. anyway, a "queen" without kittens and a "tom" without sex drive makes a happier and better cats. btw, if you have babies, do you think that you will be happy if your parents give you babies to strangers or leave them at the wet market if they can't afford to keep them?
