... and sometimes the cats get in the way of the stall owners' business and work and they vent their frustration and anger on the cats by beating/kicking or killing them (ask Macgyver_June - the cats she had been feeding out of pity at some stalls got whacked with heavy objects till they died or broke their necks!!) ... all becos irresponsible owners do not spay/neuter their cats and they produce litters all owhich irate neighbours pick them up and dump them in garbage dumps, pasar and warongs!
