Borneo Cat Club is proud to announce that there will be special prizes for the two (2) highest scoring cats in each category. The categories are:
* Championship Class
* Premiership Class
* Kitten Class
* Household Class
The top ten (10) cats of each category will be rewarded with rosettes (USA) and points.
The highest scoring cat in each category or the highest scoring cat from the panel of four (4) judges will receive a Samsung Digital Camera – sponsored by Samsung.
The second highest scoring cat in each category or the second highest scoring cat from the panel of four (4) judges will receive either buffet breakfast, lunch and high tea or dinner for 2 at the Circle Restaurant, Le Meridien Hotel – sponsored by Le Meridien Hotel.
Borneo Challenge Crystal Trophy will be presented to the “Best Cat in Show” or the “Best of the Best”. The Borneo Challenge Crystal Trophy will be kept and proudly showcased at the Borneo Cat Club – sponsored by Network Pet Products Sdn Bhd.
There will be a photography session at the end of the show on 24th August 2008 for the press / media of Sabah. The two (2) highest scoring cats in each category will be required to pose with their respective rosettes, prizes and “Orangutan”* souvenir together with the Judges, Master Clerk and other VIP(s). Winners will also receive a copy of the news report the day following its publication.
The Sabah Branch of the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia is working closely with the Borneo Cat Club and twenty (20) girl guides will be on hand to assist the exhibitors. One of the principal duties of the Girl Guides will be ensure your cats are not disturbed by the public during the competition.
