(1) yes, i know and that's why i'm equally confused since there is no 100% gurantee the outdoor is safe.....controlled outdoor in Ashley's case is impossible or it can be possible with me sitting on top of the roof too (imagine that , in no time the whole taman will be watching me, luciky enough whole malaysia would too)
You misunderstand me here. By controlled I mean you assess the area accessible to her the way I do. I know the traffic volume in my area and which of my cats are street-smart enough not to sit and lepak on the road and ignore cars, the cleanliness of my own and my neighbours' compound, whether they tabur rat poisons to kill rats in their own compounds or not, whether they contaminate the environment and soil indiscriminately or not with chemical, used flourescent bulbs which break and leak mercury into the soil, have dirty car porches full of yucky engine oil, etc. etc, who are the cat hating neighbours kalo ade, etc. etc. Who are the cat napping neighbours ("Oh, ingat tak de tuan ...) Luckily in my area got none except the "oh ingat tak de tuan" one ... ade satu only

Also, I control the time spent outdoors - freedom starts at 6 or 7 am till 6 pm latest because they are nocturnal and get active at night, and meet all the potentially hazardous roaming strays that you do not usually see during the day.

All food are served in respective cages consistently at exactly the same time each day and they are well trained to hop in a wait while saya tutup pintu mereka wang by wang ...

Don't forget ample clean drinking water for her too so she will not drink toxic longkang water ...

Yeah, so do I sebab sayang but learn to let go like a parent. Just pray for their safety. Do what you can and leave the rest to God. Remember always - God will not do for us what we can do for ourselves so that we will live ... and God will do for us what we cannot do for ourselves so that we will not die ...
