It's exactly three months to the day when Skiboots went missing. I think he will be thrilled to know (wherever that manja baby is) that we have been blessed with Burger who just purred her way in (the backdoor kitchen) and adopted us. We reckon Burg must be related to Skib cos she's a socks too -- and she's just had three cute babies -- sneakily in daughter's unused bedroom. Poor mother needs to be comforted and coaxed into resting with her brood - so fidgety and always on the alert, probably from her stray days. She has the most alluring jade green eyes....
Burg comes with her macho mate -- no mistaking the babies are his. He too will be given a name and collar, just like Burg. Just to show that they belong/ BTW, there's Ginger too -- we have learnt to distinguish all their voices (they are a talkative bunch especially when asking:"Where's the foooooood....") and an adorable lot.
So thanks to Skib and the tears I shed when he was missing, that the family (Spouse especially) are so (careful to be) supportive with the new 'Cat Woman' in the neighbourhood ! Yes, Yes, the vet is coming in to give them their official certs jabs/spaying/neutering.... Aren't we such a blessed family! Cheers everyone, sheila
