Default TNR programme...

I havent been to this forum for quite some time.....so Hi again.

Back to my title. I've been browsing through the treads and noticed that TNR seems so be in the latino heat topic.

I've been doing TNR in my neighbourhood for quite some time but has recently stopped. Let me tell you why...

I saw an obvious drop is cat population. However my worries were the increased number of RATs in the neighbourhood. Then i stopped TNR until i find an answer to my questions.

My QUESTIONS.
...Is TNR necessary?
...Is that the wisest option we human can think?
...Is there other ways apart from TNR?
...Are we disrupting nature?
...Should I continue with TNR?

Please offer your opinion...be it positive or negative.
