Through my observation la, sejak i dah tau naper cats menenggek tu.. All my cats reach maturity in different ages. Some can be as early as 6/8 months and others can be up to 2 years. May be physically they've matured but they have no intention of mating..tu i tak taulah. But, really, a few of my cats lambat into heat.
Justin first timer yek?? hmmm...funny tho u have to teach him!! So far, i never teach my cats to mate..they know how to do it naturally. I think may be Justin is not ready yet.
Just to share wt u abt my male cat, Chitam. At abt 7/8 months, he started to "imitate" what the older male's doing. Call for female cats, spray here & there...yg I geram sgt he's not just spraying but "peeing"!!!... Kesian my mom nak bersihkan rumah selalu since the cats are staying wt my parents. He learn to mount but since there's no female cat in the house exc for his own mom, he mounted on Belang, his MALE litter-mate!! Lepas tu bergaduh la, berkejar2 ke depan/belakang rumah...very kelam-kabut.
Chitam's not the first. I have a few male cats did that when they started to learn how to mate. A bit kalut laa....first time kan... Anyway, just let them alone for a lil while... Actually, how long have u put them together? Does mary resist Justin?
