Yeah, it is very sad, angry and frustrating that people nowadays took granted of what they're doing. I think u should not go to that groomer again BUT i do suggest that u go to the owner and speak to him/her about this matter. Don't keep silent about this. I m sure you do not want other cats or dogs hv the same fate rite. Be responsible. Same goes with others should u hv similar experience.
Well, personally, i don't bring my cats for professional grooming coz i found them a real rip-off. They charged u a bomb. Anyway, let me relate my incident. It happened to Wesley, my ginger white cat who got discharges from both his eyes. I sent him to a vet at Sea Park and he was checked by this young male vet. Then he prescribed an eye paste.
When I got home, i applied the oinment to Wesley and he immediately scratch his eyes till it bleeds!!! I was very scared and wash his eyes with a soft wet tissue and did not apply that oinment anymore. The next day, I dropped by the vet angrily and confronted the young male vet. At that time, the senior vet was around and heard the whole story. Then senior male vet told the young vet why he had prescribed that oinment to me whilst he could give me an eye drop. And both of them speaks in Hokkien!!!! I mean, what is this I say. Then the senior vet apologized to me and I told him NEVER took an animal's health for granted coz we are paying medical bills as high as a human.
Therefore, from that day, I only refer to the senior vet ONLY n no others. I found the senior vet very professional and he checked my cats very thorough and explained in detail but nowadays it kept me think twice of going to that clinic coz the last visit, I was charged with SERVICE TAX. This is the 1st vet clinic that charged service tax!! I find it very annoyed and I keep the receipt to file a complaint.
