PKD is Polysystic Kidney Disease...to go into details, i shall let Lesley lah to explain...i just know the surface...but all persians should be tested for it. am not sure if the test is available in Msia, but for imported cats from US, UK and Aust, it is normally done before they are shipped, if not ask the breeder to do it. PKD can be passed down to the kittens, so do ensure your breeding stock is clear of this...sorry am not able to give a full answer
