It'd be wise to get your cats DNA tested for PKD, anyway, so you can be 100% certain on that one! Your breeding cats, of course. As I said, Gribbles in Melbourne do it. No need for a vet - they send the buccal swabs to you, you follow the instructions (basically, you rotate the little brush thing inside the cheek for 15 secs) pack it up, post to Gribbles and you should have a result in 2 wks.
