Ika - The voice of reason. Yeah Burnian, in life sometimes we make mistakes or we say or do something that people won't like. Isn't it better if people tell you straight than they going behind your back and bitching about you? When I was younger I used to just bite my lip and just take it when people are not nice to me. Then I would bitch about it to other people. In the end I told myself no more, then I told this person that she really made me uncomfortable. Fortunately, our relationship floundered as she didn't want to see from my POV. I have also been told off before by people I regard as good friends for behaving or saying something wrong. That their feelings were hurt etc. I quickly apologised because although I did not intend to hurt, this person was hurt. Today, I enjoy a very honest and open relationship with her.

Everybody makes mistakes and we should be thankful when people tell us about it. Not everybody will do it, instead they would laugh behind your back or bitch about you.

If you go to other forums, it is so much more vicious. Kitten forum is one of the best I've been to. Don't drop out lah, it would be a stupid reason to. You've apologised already.
