One Hour To Observe Humanity
Hello fellow cat lovers.
I am calling for an hour to observe what has happened today. It's a classic example of varying opinions and how we should respond to such differences existing between all of us.
What happened to Burnian is actually a very small matter. She wrote something that some other people found offending. While I did not laugh at the jokes posted by her, I was NOT offended by the jokes as well. I am sure there are some other forumers who share similar sentiments as I over the jokes.
Malaysia is growing and maturing as a nation. If Malaysia is to prosper and grow, good citizens must rise up to the challenge of appreciating what makes each of us unique. Respecting the opinions of others is the primary key to the success of any nation. Instead of oppressing opinions, we should encourage the exchange of ideas. And we need to learn to respect the differences.
Then Malaysia baru BOLEH!
This is my thread and it is one which I am writing to promote thought and analysis. Maybe we should all take time out to think about what is happening around us. Appreciate humanity and how beautiful our lives are. How wonderful our cats are. And let every difference melt away.
So I would seek the cooperation of fellow cat lovers. That between 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Malaysian time today, we will all sit down and think about our lives. What we should be thankful of. What friendships mean. What our cats and friends and family members are to us. Recall all the incidences when we had disagreements with people and think of ways we could have done it better.
And write here. Share with us how beautiful your life is and how your smile brought happiness to the people around you. And how you valued the different principles/opinions/values your friends and family members had.
