yes Jeff.... i entirely agree with u. it does not really matters if my cat does not win (perhaps this is my POV fr a non-breeder). if u win, b modest. if u lose, b a sport. like the MiCATz show, i decided to show my Munchkin, Akechi over his other siblings becoz i knew that r not many ppl knew or even heard of the breed Munchkin. Even the 2 Japanese judges, Nagayama n Shimada had personally came n look for me on the 2nd day of the show to see more closely of my Akechi. cat shows shud b an eye-opener n educational ground. i don't actually forsee that Akechi will get any placing for HHP before the show (knowing CFA did not recognize Munchkin) but seeing many got to know abt Munchkin, Akechi is already BIS in my heart n that certainly had made me sleep soundly at nite
