The bitter lime spray is to stop cats from biting open wounds, not for de-fleaing purposes. I would go with frontline and a couple of sessions with melaseb. It is not a good idea to just keep using medicated shampoo all the time if there is no flea problems...you might damage the coat. Please remember that Malaseb needs to be diluted before use!
