I'm looking into buying a cat and would appreciate if you can answer some of my questions.

1. Where can I buy a cat? (I'm looking for a british short hair with white socks)
2. Should i buy from a pet store like Pets Wonderland? (I saw some occasional nice ones but expensive)
3. What else should I get?
4. Should i feed it wet food? (I want a big cat)
