Hai nigel.
I will try to answer your Q:
1-As far as I know,BSH with white socks is not exist unless it is a mixed breed ,only Birman( am I right ?) has white socks.
-If you really want to buy a pure BSH,please try to get it from a good breeder, may be some of the members here can help.
-This is an expensive pedigree cat,so please ask for CFA/TICA certificate.
2-From pet shops, especially petswonderland is not a good place to invest money in getting good cat, they are knew for cheating new cat buyers/lovers.No proper certificate,no health cert, not sure about the pedigree and etc.
-Best place is still from the good and responsible breeder, internal or abroad.
3-What else should u get ?.The answer (if you want to buy a pedigree) are:
-Good Q accordingly and healthy cat.
-CFA/TICA certificate.
-Health certificate .
-Sale agreement.
-Health guarantee.
-Sample/name of kibbles/cat food which curently consumed by the cat .
-Instruction(verbal/written) on how to take care of the cat.
4-Wet food or dry food are boths ok but must be a premium cat food.Big cat or small cat is not an issue.Usually dry food is better in term of smell, economical, faeces odour, longer lasting and easier to prepare.
What else ?,other members please.............
