Disebabkan kecintaan saya terhadap binatang, hampir semua binatang saya suka ..

Untuk buat teman kucing saya.. ader ter pk gak nak cari kan derang companion macam ferret atau rabbit...
dan pernah ter pk gak untuk beli kura - kura

tapi my minat untuk membela kura kura telah pupus sejak saya jadik foster mum dalam masa 5 hari nih.. (owner dia pegi vacation)
sebab DOL , asyik merontan ronta nak keluar dari bekas dia dan sentiasa mencari jalan nak keluar dengan membuat bising...
pernah saya lepaskan dia di rumput depan rumah.. DOL seolah olah gembira .. berjalan dgn laju tanpa menoleh ke belakang.. maybe dalam hati dia cakap i'm free.. i'm free...

tapi saya kutip dia balik letak dalam bekas sebab takut dia hilang.. nanti apa nak jawab kat my neighbour..
pastu semalam saya lepaskan DOL sekali lagi..untuk bermain dengan Paris; my cat , DOL mencuba 'escape from new york' DOL dan hampir berjaya..


puas saya mencari cari.. yerlah dalam hati saya mampos la kalau hilang.. pastu my cat si Milan come to me and purr, meoww... like wanna tell me where DOL is..lepas tu Milan menuju ke longkang n 'pointed' ...
yep memang btol DOL ader dalam longkang.. tengah berlari dengan laju nyer.. nasib baik saya sempat menangkap nyer dan masukkan balik ke dalam bekas ...kesian DOL

what my point here is...

Kalau kita nak pelihara Pet jangan lah pelihara yg kehidupan dia n habitat dia susah kita nak sediakan seperti kura kura nih.. memang kita bagi dia makan dan memandikan dia.. tapi keinginan dia untuk hidup di habitat asal tetap ader dalam naluri dia..

tak sama macam kita pelihara kucing atau anjing.. binatang sebegini memang lah untuk menjadi peneman kita dan hidup/tinggal di rumah kita..

i like tortoise too but i dun think i can keep them in space that limited bcoz i think they shud live in their natural habitat..

p/s: tadi hantar DOl balik kat owner dia sebab owner dia dah balik from vacation.. rindu la plak kat DOL...

there r 2 different tortoise lah. well... did not really name them lah but the left one I usually call Kuai Ko (Brother Tortoise) n the other one which is slightly smaller is Kuai Di (Little Brother Tortoise). After a certain age, both tortoise will be free to their natural habitat but they must reach adulthood first.

if i'm not mistaken those are actually terrapin. i got a few of these before, but when the terrapins become as big as my palm, suddenly they die. after all, i only feed them the green sticks and sometimes veggie strips... but one must be really "rajin" to clean up after the terrapins esp those fed on the commercial pellets.

no lah.. mine is not terrapin. Terrapin the cengkerang very the bonggol one. n then ha, some more is yellow in colour mah... terrapin expensive woh... oklah.. not that expensive coz it's only cost RM8 per ekor. My tortoise I got for only 50sen only...

hello all,
i also have to pet small type tortoise before, but one time i back to house and see the cage of the tortoise open and fall down from the table know the tortoise hilang....i have find many place still cannot find the tortoise. did the tortoise can run away??
i thinks maybe my cat push the cage down and play with the tortoise until hilang. i also not smell anything bad smell inside my house, the tortoise still alive or not??

hmm. ferret is very expensif if you compare to getting another cat...
you can get another domastic kitten for him/her
rabbit really smell bad. and their urine acid will make your floor become yellow and the stain cant come out....

btw, hedhoge (spelling?) you can get from ikano petshop.
hmm. their duri memang sakit i think cos the petshop worker always use sarung tangan to take them / sayang them
if you want to buy another pet...
chincilla also a good suggestion...

i found it on the road, very dry i took it in and keep it before deciding where to release

I had 3 terrapins before...when i got them they were only as big as a newborn baby palm...they git bigger and bigger when i moved them to a bigger aquarium. Then they got as big as an adult's two palms put together and my mum said they had to go..so, this lady whose husband worked at the naval base took them and released them into a pond at the base. Tak tau apa jadi now ni..
