hi al...
if i'm not mistaken terrapins are endangered species. they need a lot of help to reach adulthood from humans. they have a lot of natural predators. once i read at a website, among the best way to help them is to raise them from young and when their shell is big enough, release them to the wild. i also want to do that  but my terrapins always died when they reach half my palm size...
cheer up coz you have succeeded  helping add three terrapins to the ecosystem... i'm planning to release it (the tortoise / terrapin i found) to a nearby pond. there's a lot of pond in pasir gudang, i'm spoilt for choice
