Hi baby Merc, I ada 4 kittens yg berumur 2++ months. bebudak ni memang nakal. Semua yang baru depa tengok, depa akan hidu, pegang, sepak dan terajang. Semua benda yang menarik untuk dimain akan menjadi sasaran. So biasanya untuk buat bebudak ni leka, I letak banyak permainan, so almost 2 hours selepas makan, bebudak ni akan main, after that meowww tidur.

My upper level of my house dan menjadi track 100m lari pecut, tangga rumah, my sofa and table dan menjadi tempat bebudak ni parade dan runaway catwalk. Pasal tingkap dan pintu, I kena letak safety grill and net kat semua tingkap. Pintu kena letak stopper, tukar special door hinge, latch (one baby kena sepit sebab pintu tutup laju sangat, sampai kena x-ray dan warded ) Bila bukak pintu bilik bebudak ni akan menjadi komando, masuk dalam comforter, ur pillow menjadi fort/castle/kubu depa. Cuma depa guna claws and teeth as their weapon and also their voice as semboyan. Their messenger is the other 2 ferrets. Sending message to puak musuh. Lepas tuh the great battle and will leave u with the major destruction. Siapa yang kemas dan bersih?..... Alam flora aka big cat juga kena bersihkan...

I received many questions again about this. So let me post the answers here rather than repeat them in PM or e-mail..

1) Where to buy?
In any hardware stores. But please do not say “I am looking for Cat’s safety net” but ask them for “plastic fencing”. It comes with various colors but usually green and black. The fence has many hole sizes, ranging from ½ inch to 3 inches. The bigger the better it is, because none of our cats can pass through 2 or 3 inches hole. With 2 or 3 inches hole, the net will always clean because the dust or cat’s fur can pass through easily and easy for us to wipe clean too.

2) How to tie them to the grill.
Usually people would buy this kind of fence for their orchids / flowers or to make their gardens neat while in the same time ensure the safeties of their kids or pets. The fence is not aluminum or steel; it is not sharp or can get rusty. So, to tie this type of fencing, the hardware stores also selling “plastic tie”, it is just that, the tie is a tiny wire covered by plastic. You can easily tie them to your grill by roll it to the grill bar. Since the tie is covered by a soft plastic, it would not hurt your cats’ eyes or bodies if they touched it. The tie comes in various colors just like the fence. If your grill color is black, make sure to buy black plastic fence and plastic wire tie.

If you tied them properly, it is hard for people to notice it unless if they come closer or really focus on it. With the net, I can sleep in peace even though I didn’t close the window and the glass sliding door.

Annoyed? No lah. I think it is best to post it here to share with everyone. Besides, you are not the only one who PM/E-mail me. I dont mind sharing what I know as much as I love others to share their knowledge if I dont know or have problem with.

Psst....u can also use cable ties which are very secure.

Psst...only use 2"/3" netting kalau u xde under 1 mnth kittens! My 1 month kittens boleh selit 2" netting!!! Tak tau if LH kittens sama2 boleh selit. Otherwise, all d rest of Jay's info/advice BETUL!!! Cable ties V. Good!!

Yup, provided the cable tie color matches the grill and net's color. Besides, for your information, you need to tie a lot (or not the cat/kitten can still slip away). Cable tie compared to the wire plastic is a bit expensive and bigger. It looks obvious from far.
