After delaying the project to toilet train my cat.. I finally bought the Baba plant tray 12' and it fit snugly onto the toilet bowl..
I clean my cat litter tray and put it away, pour his cat pine into the Baba plant tray ontop the toilet bowl. I let him sniff out the regular smell of his cat pine in the plant tray. Usually he will jump onto the new cat pine everytime after I clean his litter tray, but not today. Four hours have pass, my cat still reluctant to go to the toilet. Hopefully he won't let go in other places in my house... ![]() |

Uumm.. My cat is extremely stubborn, he refused to pee and poo in the new tray even after I bring it to the ground level.
He have feline urinary tract infection before, will this holding of pee and poo bring back his old condition? I know he is holding it because he look extremely uneasy, angry when I try to cuddle him and he is sitting beside his loo pondering.. ![]() |

I give in and let him have his spacious litter box with cover and lots of cat pine back last Saturday. He immediately let go inside his litter box, both pee pee and poo poo... and boy, he is so happy after coming out from the litterbox.
I will try another approach by first to take his litter box cover away then slowly increase the height of his litter box... I think will take a very long time... sighs. ![]() |

Actually, there's a product that trains cats to use the toilet bowls and it comes in stages. Its called Litter Kwitter. The product has been ordered by some people and there's now a distributor in S'pore quite some time ago. Those who had used it had high succes rate. I am getting mine next month actually, its slighly expensive but after reading Isky DIY's, I am inspired to try the "cheaper" alternative 1st.

Since I last posted in this thread, I have elevated the height of his litter tray to 7 inches.
And including the height of the tray, my cat now climb about 12 inches twice daily to do his poo poo and pee pee. Will need to find more white plastic fruits carton boxes to add the height of the litter tray. |
