- It's my elder bro you're talking about...he owned 4 black belt in 4 different diciplines....you're better think twice...anyway no heart feeling...

as for me...love and passions is important...before we bought a cat we must think about the future (whether your future wife can accept cats, will there any problems arise when having baby etc..) ofcourse, maintainence (vets, supplements, foods etc) is important...

I've waited for 20 years before I decided to start having cats again...now I think they a parts of my family...

Last weekend when I went to restock my babies food at my usual vet/petshop, I saw one girl holding black DLH and maybe age around 3 to 4 years old. She's bargaining with the petshop owner about the cat price. When I listened carefully then I know the whole story about it. The girl wanna sell the cat but the pet shop's owner refused to buy it since that the is quite old ( 5 years to be exact). Then I ask that girl what is the purpose of selling the cat,she said her sister just gave birth and they need to get rid of the cat. And I suggest her to give away instead of sell it, but her answer is ' rugi lah saya macam tu nak bagi free jer'. Oh that really pissed me. I'm so angry and paid my shopping and went away. I cant help to feel sorry for the cat, his owner just want profit out of tortering him. Anyway it's a beautiful black DLH, so damn beautiful.

that what happen when parents/owner lack of knowledge...I never come across to read/experience about cat dangerous to baby...

what you need is proper grooming..so that the fur won't disturb the baby as well as trim their nails..I keep on advise my bro about this...he's considering...I pray he won't let go the cat...so do all the owners...

its not so much about the fur. rather about toxoplasmosis. whether your cat has it or not.. you should always maintain good personal hygiene. wash your hands after touching the cat. ask the hubby to do litterbox duty when wife is pregnant.

I can't say that I'm perfect in taking care of my furballs, but I try my damnest to do it. I moan and whinge everytime I have to pay the vet, groomers etc but one hug from them is enough to make me forget that they're bleeding me dry

My girls shed like mad and it drives me craaaazzzyyy!
So, instead of giving them up for adoption, or throw them on the street...

I sent them to a pet shop and shaved their hairs
I think they really like it (I like it too)... cos they are pretty happy now days! Cooler also... and the shedding... thank God! I am so happy I sent them for shaving!

Now, they look like a very adorable short hair cats, a bit fuzzy hair like sheeps.... but with a very round face! Will post some pictures soon!

The 3 of us decided to go visit this pet shop near Mentari Court (near Sunway) last weekend.

It made me so sick in the stomach to see the condition the animals were in.
About 15 feet from reaching the pet shop I could already sense something wasn't right when I saw this (what seemed) strange cat (being displayed at the shop) and my mouth was so ringan at that time that I cried "WHAT AN UGLY CAT".

When we reached the shop, naturally I was just getting used to the animals in the shop. They had Bengals, ASH, Persians (that didn't look like Persians), Munchkins and a 'Bengal-Curl' (which was so ridiculously priced). I don't think these outcrosses are allowed (I may be wrong tho'). I felt sorry for the cat 'cos it looked ridiculous and I felt sorry for it's dam and sire for being used (to create such a thing).

The other cats on display were in bad living conditions with no/little water, NO food (maybe it wasn't feeding time ? I dunno) and there was shit in the (which looked like runny shit that had hardend) all over the Persian's pen. The cats were just sleeping there 'cos it had no where else to go

I couldn't take anymore of it so I walked out the shop. That was when I had a good look at the 'ugly cat'. She was a red Munckin that was slightly bald all over except on her top (her back) and face. Her back legs were weird (like two fat chicken wings tied at the fat part together) and her back was crooked. And she had difficulty walking. Was she a result of std Munchk X std Munchk ? The worst part of it the shop assistant (who obviously don't give a shit about cats) said that "Dia ni cacat, tapi anak2 dia OK" (She is handicapped but her litters turn out ok). How could a person mate a cat that has in the 1st place a bad back and difficulty walking ??? What kind of person would ???

I cried silently when I left. I had nothing in my heart but hurt, sympathy and curses.

just the same thing i felt when i read news about OKUs and mentally handicapped girls being raped and impregnated by monsters wearing a human face! why la our country is trying to safe guard the lives of these monsters? human rights??? then other humans and animals that are victimised don't have any rights? just kill them, no need to keep them in jails and waste taxpayers money!

i sympathised with nor suzaily's family. only after 20 years, the killer will be killed! may she rest in peace
