Usually would a breeder sell their show cat to a none show home?

Well, I do. Some might consider it a waste, but the home's the most important thing.

I seconded that!!! The "HOME" is the most important thing.. showing is just a bonus and it is not everything....

A good breeder is trying hard to make sure that the kittens get great new parents, and that the parents get an affectionate, healthy and beautiful kitten that fits into their lifestyle. I strong supporting you on this matter... Perhaps I would like to say that all the reputable breeder that I wrote to and talk to will have TONS of question to forward to me before they even tell you how much is the cat.. I still remember there was a breeder who ask me 37 Question before she decided answer my question... But overall she is a very nice person and a very good breeder...
