Default sesapa tahu condition quarantine facility at KLIA?

I plan nak import kucing into M'sia from Europe. But nampak gaya macam kena quarantine. Anyone has any experience dgn quarantine facility at KLIA? (good / bad? reviews welcomed)

the only I'm considering from continental europe is that I am based here (for a while). But the thought of putting the cat in quarantine is giving me the headache.

anyway thanks for your tip, will keep looking for japanese bengal breeders.... but i think over there russian blue is so popular, not bengal.

Let say hand carry to Sabah/Serawak... of coz you need to inform the carrier let say MAS that you bringing a cat along and have to pay extra for the cat.Must be 2 hour before departure.Your cat will go in first.Make sure all your document ready for inspection such as import/export permit, health certificate and so on.Call Jabatan Haiwan and ask what they need. You have to show all these document when you reach the other side. Some customs officer did not bother about your cats coz its not under their jurisdiction so if you did not see any officer from Jabatan Haiwan.... then cepat-cepat jalan and dont even look back... buat bodoh jer.I know few people that bring cats to Sabah/Serawak that escape quarantine.....

P/S : Always take the last flight coz most of the officer are too lazy to check everything and want to go home ASAP.... pak cik cuma nasihat tapi tak ajar how to smuggle.....

I asked a doctor from Jabatan Haiwan Sabah. He told me that my cat need to be quarantined at Kota Kinabalu (since there is no direct flight from KL to Sandakan for MAS) for 30 days. If it's microchipped, my cat only need to be quarantined for 7 days.

Honestly, I don't like my cat to be quarantined even for 7 days. Do you think it's possible to "pass" through if I take last flight? Hehe...
