Smile kitten litter training

I am adopting a kitten next week, during the week I live in an apartment, so the kitty will have a litter tray for her business. at the weekends I usually go to my family home, my family want me to put the litter tray outside at home to train her to go outside at home, will it be possible to train her to go outside at home and inside in the apartment or should i tell them that it's not possible? thank you for advice

Put the cat box outside the door she comes in & out of.
Before long she will find her own 'spot' that she likes
outside. Then you can throw the awful stinking box away
for good.

It is easy to teach new kittens litter how to use the litter box.

Litter box training:
1) place a clean litter box in a place you think is best for you and your cat.
2) Take your new kitten and place him/her in the litter box with the litter.
3) play a mother cat role and scratch a little on the sand.
4) Take the kitten's paws and show the kitten how to scratch the litter sand.
5) If the kitten goes out of the box, they usually won't and will start using the litter, take him/her back in and show the procedure again.
6) If the above does not work, place some of the kitten's poo in the box and he/she will soon learn that that is the place to do his/her business.

Perserverance is the key.

Good luck with the new lesson.

Tq Daian for your advice... I will try to follow all your training tips.. tq very much...
From what I saw She prefer to do her business on newspaper.... does this mean that I should put newspaper in the litter box too? I'm not sure weather her breeder trained her to poo on news paper...

I dont know whether this method work to your cat or not...

Know your cat's time to poo,pee..."kurung" ur cat in enclosed area...lets say, toilet. make sure litter box inside, just wait until ur cat finish her job. she'll use the litter, lame2 die akan pandai control kencing, berak

Thats my method as well..works quite well. By instinct they prefer the litter than the floor. After a few times, they will go on their own.
