Hi PB,
terpulang pd owner lah samada nak bagi ke tidak. cuma risau aje kencing berak dlm carrier tu.. manalah ko nak cari nak cebok tu nanti... . juz give him a small portion n tengok dia cam ne... it won't make them sick but maybe slight drowsy lah... better u get this pills fr the vet.. i always recommend to take cat medication fr the vet n not fr petshop...

n yes... kalau ur cat is well behaved, tak bising, tak nyanyi cam okestra, then it is ok...

this Friday, Im going to take my SImba balik kampung. ABout 4-5 hrs journey. Ive been reading about traquilizers (pil penenang), they said its not recommended sgt. In fact dlm buku pon it says the same thing. Better bagi natural calming remedies. Bach Flowers, Walnut, and one pheromone spray called Feliway. Yg tu spray kat carrier. Nak try carik these things first and try for this 3 days. Kalau berkesan, then tak yah pakai tranquilizers. Tak sedap hati ler tgk miow tdo more than usual. Takut pon ada gak.

my fren who has like 20 cats say, she uses catnip when she intends to calm them down. it's supposed to get them stoned the way weeds do to us humans. anyone can clarify this? if it's true, then countess, u can try this, less pricey...

i did it once when my cat lalang was about a few months old. it was hari raya vacation, no one is at the hostel. at that time i was naive, no idea about cat boarding, fearing my cat getting famished

i used a bag and put it with some towel. however, i put my cat to the sleeping pill first... however, i think that ride must be quite uncomfortable for my cat...

from my hostel to upm bus stop - motorcycle
from bus stop to serdang commuter - taxi
from serdang to tasik selatan - commuter
from tasik selatan to pudu - lrt
from pudu to kluang - bus (of course!)
kluang to home -car

however, only few people did notice i brought my cat as he was sleepy... the girl sitting beside me in the bus even confessed she brought back a rabbit the same way!

thinking about it, that tom-cat is the most adventurous of all my cats

the lady that gave me that cat brought hers from penang to kl by bus too, in a carrier and drugged... she even bought a bus ticket for the cat! so basically the bus driver don't complain

p/s : i'm not encouraging huh. just telling my experience
