Just got my kitty girl Zoe. She's about 2months old. She's very playfull & i'm in the midst of training her. But since i got her last Fri, she doesn't eat much. Also, it's difficult for her to eat form the bowl...not to sure whether its slippering & diff for her to grab the biscuits. How do u act train on her eating timing?? All she wants is just play....She got no problem on littering. I'm really new with persians.......& i'm getting 1 more soon....need to solve this fast

My Saffron is also 2 mth old and she doesnt want to eat her baby biscuits. What I do is I mixed some can food with her biscuits, then slowly increasing the biscuits so that she switch 100%. Good luck.

Itu dah menjadi kebiasaan bagi kitten yg berumur 2 bulan...sekarang nie u feed dier ngan dry or wet food???Kalau boleh bagi dier wet food first sebagai permulaan...bila dah lama sikit mixed kan ngan dry food plak....normally bila dah above 3 month tu dier dah pandai mkn dry food...
Kitten selalunyer active...ok lah tu...malang sekali kalu u dapat kitten yang tak active..(selalu kitten nie sakit).Pasal fungus plak...jgn panic kalau kitten u ader fungus...that normal...tapi kena pandai jaga dan bersihkan ur cat alwaz...
Haaa,,,,,bila lagi nak postkan ur kitten pic here?????

well irda..CL agree with CC and Ika...at this age they are more to play around...weight mungkin akan turun sedikit but not to worry as long as you feed them well... CL pun ada kittens yang about same age as yours..dulu montel..but now dah loose weight a bit since dah weaned from thier mother..so now they survive by themselves dengan wet food yang CL beri...tapi mereka nakal suka makan dry one..but remember buy for kitten food ..not an adult one.. so good luck !!

i agree as well......as long as they are cared for, ie. enough food to eat, enough water to drink, rajin grooming (takyah hantar kedai, do at home, beli sikat), enough TLC (tender loving care), surely Zoe will be the most luckiest and happiest kitty on earth.....

hhmm....thx for the advise. But if i give her wet food, will the puppu becomes watery too?? What brand do u recommend for wet food?? How about the eating timing??
1 my question, Zoe loves to play with the ball & rat which is stuck at the scratching poll. But dia taknak scratch therela instead she scratch on my carpet....howla??

wat brand of dry food do u give her? Use the same for wet food lah..or else...i use either iams for kittens or Nutro for kittens. Maybe the 1st day the pupu will be a bit wet..it all depends on her body.

Put some catnip on the scratching pole..sometime this will work.

when i have really small kitten who are still on wet food + kibble, I mix the food up with chopsticks and feed them with the chopsticks. they like biting on the wooden sticks too, so its like a game. takes some time though, but they soon get the hang of eating usually within 3 - 5 days.

i also give them nutrigel or nutrical because it improves appetite.

if your kitten spent a lot of time before you got her, she might have a hard time dealign with smooth floors. add a mat or rug in her play and feeding area for better grip. she's feel more confident and will eat better too.

Whatever wet food u give, stay away from whiskas......i've tried on mine b4 and they end up having wet n smelly stool......give them as per what ika mentioned, iams.....i also give sd wetfood n they can really chomp it fast... its much more expensive but its worth giving....who says having kittens r cheap???..hehe...nolah....but true...sayang punye pasal, we catlovers tend to automatically afford......rite???....and about the scratching habit, my babies used to scratch the carpet n sofa's....but after kena marah n a few taps of the rotan n also sprayed by water, they quit the habit....love cats is a must, and must discipline them well too...if not, when they naik lemak, u sure pening...... ....try scrub some catnip on the scratching post, make her smell, put her paws in a scratching position...see if it works...good luck
