Just Curious...how come cats like to drink water from the toilet floor? Whenever the floor is wet and they get in it, they r sure to drink it!

I bought the water fountain, they drink from the floor...

Anyone else experienced the same thing?

My Bubble likes to lick my hand or leg when I just finished bathing cos ada air. My baby sometimes lick the toilet floor too if it is wet. Like Horatio, I close the cover of the toilet instead of the toilet door, cos I caught Bubbles "exploring" the toilet bowl one day. Hmmm

yeah rocky also like licking my foot and hand finger specially when im sweating.im always make sure my toilet door close coz im afraid he will get drown in bath tub!

drown in the bath tub? errr.. ur bath tub always filled with water??

talking about exploring toilet....my Lilo almost got stuck in the toilet bowl last month!!!..imagine that......some of the craziest and dangerous things cats do...besides licking the wet toilet floor, he also sleeps there......kena rotan, baru stop his habits....

Yup, the cooler temperature of the toilet is the first thing that leads the cats there. The temperature of the water is also cooler in the toilet than the one in their drinking bowls if the bowls are located in an area where there is little air movement.

But not a good idea to let the cats drink any water from the toilet bowl or floor. Who knows if your floor have been thoroughly cleared of the shampoo or soap leftovers. And some people use the air freshner spray after their "big business", that too can leave some undesirable contaminants in the water on the floor if any.

yeah... cats need to be trained at times. they hv the tendency to develop bad habits once in a while. it is up to us to ajar n didik them lah...
