i also don't know!!! but my previous cat, sayang gave birth 3 times... only the 3rd litter survive as only two kitten. luckily the kids are still around and already 1 year old and really pretty boys

she gave birth quite easily. i prepared the pet carrier for her as her home, make it comfortable. she gave birth all there... suddenly in the morning i got new kittens, that easy...

First check her nipples. These become more prominent and pinker by three weeks of gestation. By four to five weeks after conception, your vet will be able to feel golf-ball sized swellings in her abdomen. At this time the developing fetuses are usually quite easy to count. Shortly afterward, her belly becomes a visibly enlarged.

Hope this helps!

Hi. some of the symptoms that queen is ready to give birth are

1. they are lazy and will rest for the whole day.
2. they won't eat last hours before giving birth.
3. they would scratch hard on the floor wheere they want to give birth

this is accodign to the book.

but with personal experience with my queens, no one shows the symptom no.2. My queens still ate a lot. i don't know why but they really ate a lot during the last hours of pregnancy.

some of my queen would cry out loud when they are about to give birth. if u breed cats, you can notice tha belly turns around and if u palpate it, you would notices that the bulge is hunging low to the pelvic and that's the sign that the babies inside turns around for their delivery position (head first).

Actually, cat really a good mother, they can do it without human supervision but it's okay also to be there and observe if ur queen needs help.

Hi,

Congratulations and when is she due? So, you planning to manage this yourself or will you be having the vet's assistance for this beautiful moment?

Yours moody and lazy? Harder to tell when she's really going to deliver. Mine was overly seeking for attention and due to my ignorance, that was in fact one day before she delivered. It was a mess because I wasn't prepared. Fortunately the day she delivered I was back home early from work. Pheewww......I just regret not having been more attentive because I lost 2 out of 5 as I was not prepared for the moment.

Nevertheless it was a beautiful moment for me to see Buffy deliver right in front of my eyes. Being her first time, I was fortunate and proud too that she managed well herself. I hope you'll have a great experience with the delivery.

wooz....
