Hello and hi to all..
Here i've got a problem that need to discuss n guide from u guyz on how to teach my kitten to use the litterbox... i've 2 kitten age around 4mth plus... i dont know what else to do to teach one of these kitten to do their job on the litterbox... there is so many thing i've do to teach her... her sister already know how to use it when i show the litterbox... but this one always poos and pees at the living hall... i've try to spray that favourite spot with the odor controller and mopping the floor everyday to make sure there is no smell... but still this kitten still love to do that even she's has been scolded... now what i've done is to grounded her inside the cage and put her outside.... can you guyz help me to solve this problem to make sure she use the litterbox as her toilet...

try to limit her area in a cage only, never bring her out until she is fully toilet trained... put the litterbox inside... put her in the litterbox when u see her starts scratching the cage floor like preparing to do her business... and if she still drop them outside the litterbox, take the poo and put it in the litterbox... so that she knows that's the place where she suppose to do her business...

u need to be patient, coz some cat learn fast and some dont... wish u luck...

what i do beside keep my cat inside a cage until they learn how to use the litter box, from time to time, i take their hand and use it to dig through the litter sand.
and if I saw they scratching the floor to poo, i immediately put them inside the litter box.

It works with my babies..

wuhuu.. u must act fast.. if not.. lol

btw.. have u tried taking their poo and put inside the litter box.. cos most of the time when they wanna poo.. they will search for the smell and poo the same place..

yeah..i use the same method too...put them in small room..everytime after meal i will take them to the litter box and teach them how to scratch and use it...

i found a stray kitten few months ago and all i do is put him inside the litter box for few minutes, after that he'll automatically poo inside the litter box,never fails to do so....what a miracle
