Hi my kind hearted fellow forumer,
I have one problem wif one of my cats I have taken in last Sunday. I have taken a whole family, a mama (Rukia), papa(Kenpachi) and kiddo(Chigo). Rukia is a flat face Persian, about 3 years i think, and she has developed an anti-social behavior, since when she was with her previous owner (they keep her in cage, and even if the cage door open, she don wan go out). Kenpachi, a rescued stray didn't have any problem, and quite vocal actually , same goes wif Chigo. What I wanna ask is, whether there is anyway to make her more comfortable instead of being a scaredy cat. It quite sad to see her always wanna hide (she is not scare of human, just develop a liking of hiding, and dont like people hold her). Any suggestion? Help me.... (btw, I already own one female cat at home) |

pity her..maybe you could try some psychology la..before this i have a female cat who don't like people to hold her,not even touch!when we try to get near she got all tensed.but that was few months back la heheh.
what i do?everyday i pick up another cat, then i sit beside lily the female cat n i start playing, talking, kiss hug the cat.all this while lily will stare at me and just follow everywhere my hand go.and i also make sure everytime i go out to see the cats, i will pat lily, and do some talking. at last, one day when i sit next to her.her eyes were looking at me.i just look at her,and i hold out my hand to her.guess what?she just stand up,said mioww and start purring and tadaa!on my lap already.hehehe.. so all the best to you ya ![]() |

Thanks fanna, What i did do is pat her everyday, then take her to the living room and watch TV together, I put her on my lap, but once I let her go, she will go behind the TV cabinet and stay there, looking at me. Maybe it takes time to change her old habits.. Hopefully..... I wan to see her side of curiosity.. instead of 'leave me alone' attitude... |
