My family has started caring for several cats since last two years. Our problem started last 7 months, when several cats started coming over to our house and decided to stay even though we didn't feed them. Since we cannot support a lot of cats, my family took the option to buang some of the stray cats at the pasar near our house. However, that did not solve our problem as some other stray cats will still stop by our house. What should we do to stop these stray cats from coming to our house?

what i read on the net is to stop feeding them. if you feed your cats outside, now do it inside.

Never buang any strays kat pasar or any where else! U have not right to re-locate them in such a cruel manner where mereka akan kena bantai oleh territorial cats yang telah bertapak di sana dan mereka tak familiar dgn tempat baru tersebut and do not know where to hide. Animals have rights too, bumi ini bukan hak manusia sahaja!

At least SPCA put them to sleep in a more humane manner ...

Kenapa orang suka buang kucing kat pasar/restoran?? alasannya sana ada byk makanan. sodeh sodeh.aku rasa orang yg membuang ni bagus kena buang juga kat Timbaktu.

come on guys... no need to be so harsh... mungkin bukan niat dia sesaje nak buang kucing tu... kena ingat... bukan sumer orang boleh jaga kucing banyak-banyak... ada orang boleh jaga sekor atau 2 ekor je dan ada yang mungkin sampai berpuluh ekor... setiap orang ada had kemampuan sendiri...

so instead of 'tembak' dia... why dont u help him/her to find the solution...

Watever it is, tak boleh ambik buang kat pasar ...

that's why kena tolong dia... lagipun mungkin niat dia buang kat pasar sebab senang dapat makan... niat dia baik... tapi sebab mungkin dia tak faham bab cat's territorial instinct ni, tu yang dia tak terpikir bab cat's survival nih... so... the job of the sifus here is to enlighten people to know better about cats... tak gitu bro... kalau main tembak-tembak... takut orang tak nak tanya dah bila ada problem... in the end... cari own solution... sudahnya lagi banyak strays... lebih kurang chain reaction gak la nih...

kita ni pun bukan lahir terus pandai... kena belajar gak baru faham... semua orang macam tu... lambat ngan cepat je bezanya...

my other suggestion is a bit costlier. cat proof your front yard or back yard. my own front yard is almost catproofed, so that my cats can't go out. others also can't get in. install nettings at you gate, your fences, whatever holes they can get in.
