Cats won´t accept the rottweiler.
We have two male persians, nearly a year and a half. We recently got a 5 month old rottweiler bitch. They have been growling and hissing at her from the first time they saw her. All she wants is to play with them and they either run off like they just saw an atomic bomb land next to them or jump 4 feet in the air and wont stop until we drag her to another room.
Do you know any good ways to get them to accept her? She is wonderful and a very tender little soul but they treat her like she has the plague.

Heheh. Nothing much you can do I think, if the cats won't be friends! As long as your dog isn't the type who likes to chase cats, just leave them alone and eventually your cats will realise that the dog is harmless, and will tolerate her presence.
That's my experience anyway. When we first brought the dog home a year ago, my cats behaved much like yours. But now cats and dog sunbathe together on the porch!
