Question Male Cats During Mating Season
Just want to know if male cats will lose weight duing mating season. Any ideas guys?

Depends ... eg. kalo they go on autopilot (ikut the wired brains and noses) and are let loose without restraint and go chasing the pretty skirts for 2-3 days without much stopping for food and sleep (hey, they cannot help it ... their hormones are raging), they will. Tapi if they are confined in a cage or room or house and the only exercise they get is howling away (exercising only their jaws and diaphrams) while chomping on bowls of free flowing premium kibbles all day and night ... naaaahhhhh!!!

Hey, thanks for enlightening me My benji is let loose but only around the house and he does chase the female around the house but only once in a while. Benji was supposed to be neutered last two weekends but because of my recent loss i did not managed to go.

Better confine him for his sake, takut dia manage to find a weak link in yr house(these kids are geniuses in this area) and escape outside. First, he may get someone punya anak dara preggie, second, dia kena belasah and come home with some serious disease.

... and if he hops on to an infected female, she may also transfer some deadly disease to him. Hantar dia ke Klinik Kembiri this weekend pronto.

Actually they are all confine in cages in the morning. I only let them out for play time when I am at home. Also we live in an apartment so no chance of him escaping. I always keep an watchful eye on them when they are let loose around the house. Definitely going for neutering
