Hi everyone....I have a problem with PRINCE, my 4 plus old DLH, it seems tht he'll get the 'feeling' of urinating whenever he entered my car. Usually, I'll bring him for jalan2 once a week. He'll struggle to urinate on the back seat(but in the different spot each time). I tried to bring a small litter box and it helped in most of the cases but its not possible to bring the litter box all the time..wht u all think might be the cause of this?how to change this behavior?
Secondly, to eliminate the odor on the back seat I used Vinegar solution (vinegar mix with warm water) and when it dry, I use the baking soda. It helps but will take longer time for the odor to go away. Is there any cat urine odor eliminator in malaysia thts effective and work fast?pls do help.....An advance thanks to u all...

Seem that your Prince doesnt favour the joyride hehehehehe... Try Frebreeze(what ever the spelling). What a place to pee....keep a block of charcoal/arang dalam kereta untuk serap bau. Maybe, Prince tak suka trace scent dari somebody/something kat seat kereta dan dia cuba nak mask kan scent tu dengan kencing dia.

well many of my cats don't like car ride also. some also urinate even during short rides. it helps if you put the cat in a carrier since the urine won't seep to the seat

Thanks Bareen31...febreeze just cover the odor for a short time...and the odor will be still there....hmmm...but charcoal seems like worth a try...lemme try it buddy...thanks....he seems to enjoy that once or twice and urinate on other once or twice...so I think, he enjoy it 50-50...the answer is sometimes he enjoy it and other sometimes..he dont...lolz...

Thanks catalina....I use his carrier only when bringing him to vet or long drive...ini baru je nak pusing2 kat taman...dah urinate...hehe

Anyway,has anyone come across any cat urine odor eliminator spray anywhere in malaysia?...it seems good market in europe and US..so far 3 things yg im wondering abt existance in malaysia...

1) Cat tooth paste/brush
2) Cat urine odor eliminator
3) Feliway air freshner for cats...

Anyone pernah jumpa any of the above mentioned products tak?

P/S: Even 80% odor been eliminated by acetic acid(Vinegar) and baking soda...another 20% just killing me...I just can't drive...

i know how u feel... coz last time my cat 'protes' g bantai kencing d cermin dpn...mengalir k bwh.. everytime on aircond..bau semerbak j kereta... puas cari dlm kereta..clear... rupa2 nyer d cermin dpn...

Prince,happened to me once when I just started have Putih.lucky u your cat kencing,mine berak lg.huhuh!!! busuk satu keta.So to make the long story short,I sent my car to car wash durang ada cuci seat.cost me RM60 and the sofa has to be taken out from car.buka sana buka sini.my car jd togel seat kat belakang.No more faeces smell after that. The first few ride Putih tend to kencing sana sini (at that time I dah beli carrier,so not as bad as your cat.he!!he!!) but after some time all my cat get used to it.joyride dgn mummy
