She is litter box trained and have not had any problems until last week. I had her neutered last month. Behavior seems normal. She only pees on my bed. If I catch her in time and take her to the litter box she will use it. Also she uses the litter box to go poo. Litter box is cleaned ever other day and the location has not change. I have noticed that she does her excited grunt noise when running and jumping onto my bed and then scratches at the covers like she is scratching in her litter box and then squats to pee. She does not see to be licking more often than normal. I did break up with my girlfriend and this behavior started around that time. She I get some neutralizing spray to make her more comfortable.
Thanks for your help in advance |

toddfather, my female cat acted the same way right after I had her neutered. some more she did it when i was IN bed!
what i did was, put another litterbox into the bathroom connected to the bedroom, so nearer to where she sleeps. i cleaned the litterbox everyday, and the easiest part - cuddle her more than usual (i assume she needed more attention after the operation). good luck. |

Talked to a vet surgeon who is a friend of mine and he said it could be a UTI. That I should try feeding her a more meaty diet. That most of the food like Purina have a lot of grains in it. He recommended a brand call Innova Evo and to get the one which has no grains in it. That in the wild cat eat mice and other creaturs and not oats and nuts and grains. He says this will prevent other problems from happening. This food is more expensive $17 per 6.6 lb bag. But if it saves on the vet bill that it is well worth it.
