Default ALC (Asian Leopard Cat) Quite Tempting But..

Salam Sejahtera to All,
I live in Pahang (banyak hutan), so it's normal i guess to be interested in ALC. My friends here all knows about it. After nearly 3 years waiting, i had someone offer to me ALC last week. Ooh it's so cute and beautiful. Of course im interested, but after reading some info, im quite sceptical and doubtful. The issue :-
1. Is it difficult to acquire license/permit?
2. Did Perhilitan really issue permit for genuine takers?
3. Can the ALC mix with other cats?
4. So far i've never heard of any who had successfully raising ALC (not breed)
5. 90% of the thread n info are against the idea of adopting ALC, i tend to agree.. ALC are too wild of jungle cats.. can they be tamed?

My soft spot saying to let go of ALC, you all agreed?

But, ALC so cute!!

my opinion is since raising a wild animal would be difficult i think better give it to perhilitan since i think they already kidnap that little fella from his/her parent rite?

wild animal would maintain those wild genetic and might go violence against u when its big enough.

like tiger cub, when they small so cute hehehe.

domestic cat take very long to domesticated even some F4 bengal still have those wild genetic.

aku pun suka kucen ni....in north region pun ada. some in the jungles and some in bushes near paddy fields that connects to jungles. in my kampung tepen mmg bnyk....dan banyak yang mati kene lenyet kete....

i'm very sure that the kucen is an endangered animal, so kita tak bole bela...kene ade permit.....my fren penah bela but quite hard to tame the cat sbb nature dia berbeza....once dia dah besar habis ayam2 jiran dia makan...then it was quite hard to approach him, last last dia menghilangkan diri.....

anyways, i personally feel that this ALC does not belong to us, and CERTAINLY DO NOT BELONGS IN CAGES...... i slalu pi zoo tepen just to catch a glimpse of this majestic creature....feel sad sebab they are in cages.... (kalau aku tazen, dah lame aku bela koceng nih)....

I agree cemut, that's why im quite reluctant. Latest info, that cat does want to eat ikan rebus dll. Minum susu je skg.. Kesiannya. Camna ek, nak bela ker?

nooooooooo......you tak bole belaaaa.....but since the ALC is so very young, you have to keep for a while...

back in my kampung our practice is to send these creatures, ular sawa, musang, monyet, ungka, ALC to the zoo....they know what to do and they have the knowhow..... one thing that we have to accept is that the kitty will likely to spend the rest of his life in a cage...

but it's better coz in the zoo, he have his own kind to be with... kalau nak bela seniri dan kemudian lepaskan dlm hutan, takut dia tak tau survival nanti sbb tk de owang nak hajor hehe......

contact mergastua / perhilitan near to you place la.........
