Faieza,

As I understand it,

1. a dog without papers is called a MUTT or MONGREL, but now a days, they like to mix up the breed names like "Terripoodle" terrier mixed with poodle.
2. I have no idea how to answer your second question!!!

hehehehe, nampak sangat I ni tak tau pasal anjing!!!!

Hehe... so does that mean they can be cross breed and be called anything they like? As long as the parents are pedigreed?

If it's possible... maybe that's why ppl thought it goes the same with cats?

Or maybe the dog breeding programmes also facing the same problem as ppl always mistaken dogs without paper as pedigree dogs?

Ish... too many questions left unanswered. Maybe should visit the dog forum.

I bet the same goes for both animals. NO PAPER no name calling. Just freaking deal with it already.

Its ok Normy, I am sure someday you will have a pedigree.

I have 2 pedigree MC and 1 DLH, but my love to all of them are the same. They were given same food, same sleeping place, same treatment etc.

Pedigree or non-ped actually means nothing to those who really love cats except to those who would call their non-pedigree cats with "Persian" with intention to get extra bulks.

Jay, I couldn't agree more! Cat lovers wouldn't care less if you sell Domestic Long Hair instead of 'Persian'.

Hehehe... maybe selling DLH sounds less posh to get the extra $$.
