Mink is genetically cscb - cross between pointed and burmese expression. It can happen in any colour in which burmese happen. Eyes are (usually) aqua. A lot of your domestic cats are mink.... and also Kucing Malaysia.

Default Here's an interesting one.

Of a colour recognised in GCCF, (UK) Oz, NZ, Sth AFrica. What do you make of it and has anyone seen anything like it?

An Asian Shorthair ?
Les, could you tell us more about the Asian Shorthair ? I've heard someone mentioning it's breed but I don't really know what they are.

The Asian (group of breeds) are basically a GCCF variety.... and encompasses all the products which evolved during the evolution of the burmilla.... (which started with chinchilla x burmese) anything that isn't silver (tipped or shaded) or golden (as the one in the pic - to which GCCF refers as 'standard', I think) isn't called Burmilla... the self black they call "Bombay" (confusing, when the US had the original called Bombay) and they come in ticked tabby, self colours, etc, etc. In GCCF it's meant to have burmese type (EB, that is). The FIFe Burmilla is strictly a silver tipped or shaded and it's not EB type. Frankly, the cat in the pic looks like a ticked tabby to me (well - moreso than a shaded!) but that's just going by the pic and she's a Supreme grand, so I guess she MUST be shaded!
