Thanks Adilah.

I strongly believe that a show neuter or pet quality kitten should be neutered before going to the new home to avoid misconduct or complication.

The only concern is... I heard if a kitten is neutered too young its growth will be retarded particularly for Persian and Exotic. These cats will not develop the right size of head and boning which are very important features in these breeds. Is it true?

Not being a persian/exo breeder I can't say yea or nay...but with my cats, I don't see any signs of retardation whatsoever. This question you'll have to pose somewhere else!!!! Sorry! Maybe Lesley has an opinion on this!

Any example of cat transaction contract? What are the basic points a breeder should state in the contract?

Does a contract protect the buyer as well?

As far as desexing contracts go, Dr Susan Little loved my saying and is going to use it... "there's no breaking a surgical contract".

A breeder might state as many restriction as he/she wants in a contract but how far and how long will a breeder be able to make a frequent follow up with the buyer to make sure the buyer complys with the contract ? Say for instance i buy a cat from a breeder and later after a year i shifted to somewhere where the nobody knows. How will the breeder is going to know whether i'm still complying to what's stated in the contract ?

I don't see the breeder facing much of a problem should they sell neutered cats. But when it comes to breeding quality cats, there is more matters to look into by the breeder and what are the restriction they actually might want to include in the contract and how far will this contract be protecting in the best interest of the cat/breeder and buyer......? This is something i would like to know too....

I wonder if you can make an official complaint with the consumer bureau or maybe complaint to cfa? I mean its not professional to do it via online/ forum. If you just say out the name here, it doesnt solve any problem between you two.....and worst still an argument will break loose. As always
