HI there, a nice kitten you have there. Ok, for your info, any cat whom its family line is unknown/unrecorded will be known as Domestic cat. In your case, your cat is most likely a Domestic Semi Long Hair....or in short DSLH. Hope i answered your question.
As for the kitten food, as long as it is food for Kitten then its fine....if i'm not mistaken Kitten Food contains more Protein and Carbo. |

The point to RC breed specific foods is that the kibbles are different shapes and sizes, best suited to the particular breed's method of eating (structure of head is important) and its system........ for eg, abys and SIA do well on the SIA food because of the fact they tend to bolt through it and then up-chuck...and that can also be affected by the angle at which they eat, which is why RC developed special borls for those breeds. Persians eat totally differently (use their tongue differently) so the RC Persian products are designed to suit their eating technique and head/tongue structure. As your cat isn't of persian type, I don't see any good reason to use a persian product, but a baby kibble is a good idea (Kitten 34?)
