hv u guys heard of this new breed? its the american ringtail previously called american sing-a-ling ... to me the only ting unique is the tail.. bred for a deformity just like how the scottish fold originated. any opinions on the creation of new breeds for deformities?

Hmm... talking about new breed for deformities, it's kinda sentitive subject kan? Some religious or concern ppl might say that we are playing God and cruel. Some optimist might say it's an experiment, or invention and all the good things
But for me, as long as in the process of creating a new breed for deformities and no harm was done to any of the animals, or the deformities do not affect the animal capabilities to survive, I guess it should be ok. It is wonderful that we have more new breeds and stuff, right?
for example munchkins, it was a result of some deformities on the leg rite? As long as these deformities do not harm the cat, like still can run, climd, etc or when attack they can still defend themselves, etc, then I guess it shud be ok la.
If the deformities are all about beauties without realising the effect they have on the cat (especially their survival skill), as a cat lover, we should go against it lor!

yup i tink so too.. just like how they barubaru ni come up with the clone bengal kitties... and they also have hypoallergenic bsh in usa going for $3500... usd.... mahal kau... but i tink a hypoallergenic cat is a good ting.. kesian those ppl who cant keep cats due to allergies. there was someone in singapore who wanted to import either a somali or an alaskan snow cat or sth like tt.. cant recall the name... new breed pun...

Hemm...could it be american bobtail? or manx ? this 2 r born with deformed tail...somali is a ver breautiful cat...somethg like turkish anggora feature...except the neck 2 shoulder more fur. alaskan snow cat...might b snowshoe...well i just guessing...any1...pls quote me if i am wrong ok.

no no not cymric.. cymric is longhair manx.. this one alaskan snow cat or sth like tt.. ader alaskan pat namanya... dunno wad kind... has somali blood.
