i agree with you faieza... pedigree breeding are mostly control with stringent regulations, except those doing mass breeding (god forbid!) they ensure the life they have created, either from their queens or sires, to be in good homes.
domestic cat breeders on the other hand, are the complete opposite of the pedigree breeders. numbers count, quality, health, temperament isn't... and if the kittens could not be placed, or SOLD the better term for this group, they lower down the prices, so they can get rid of the kittens...
in terms of numbers, domestic cat breeder exceed the number of pedigree breeders. for my self, i will buy from and ETHICAL pedigree breeder or just adopt a stray from the back street...
