Yup!
No cure for matted hair though. You have to trim or cut the matted/simpul hair.

Once done, continue with the daily grooming especially under the belly and the armpits area, VERY prone to matting.

Try use hair brush type and then follow by the slicker brush. Regular bathing say... every 2 weeks will help to prevent matting.

I penah tak mandi my girls for a mth, OMG! The underbelly hair CURLY already!! Thank god it's not matted yet... hehehe.

Kalo rajin buat grooming tiap2 hari then I think it should be no problem but kalo tak berkesempatan to groom everyday then hantar ke groomer to trim short... or you juga boleh trim sendiri tapi mungkin tak seberapa cantiklah...

I have the same problem with my new cat DOlly.... Haiyooo!!! Mostly kt leher, dada and armpit... SOmetimes, the matted part is too close to the skin, nak gunting mmg takut. SO, I would take my time siat-siat the matted hair slowly. Susah gak. THen, after the ball dah lerai, I akan sikatkan. I baru je bela Dolly seminggu... So tak de experience sangat. My mix persian si Musang tu tak de pulak masalah... Tak sikat or mandi sebulan pun maintain gebu... But his coat tak sehalus and cottony like Dolly's. I am actually collecting bulu DOlly. NNt dah banyak... tenun buat kain bulu.

Err... actually no... I am collecting her shedded hair. Setakat nih ada la beberapa gumpal... He he he.. Bulu dia jenis cottony and mmg senang digumpal (perhaps the reason she'd have matted hair problem) still a long way to go though.
