Males & Females
Most of us don't know how to sex our kittens when they are born...here's a link I found which may help!

my problem is that they look the same(furwise).. so i always forget. haha. so for some time until they developed their personalities i had to lift them up and turn them around before i could tell who was who.
so wat does everyone else do to identify similar kittens? nailpolish? crochet a thin,soft collar? anything else?

Try one colour breeding Heartkiel...
- be 3 or 5 ruddy abys, they ALL look the same! What I do is pick them up one by one, check the size then the sex...but having said that, by the 3rd day, they've already developed distinct purrsonalities and for me, at least, it gets easier!

the third day! as i recall on the third day they were still flat on their backs and snoring away.. lol. hmm.. maybe cos this cat gave birth outside la tts why i didnt have much interaction with them in the early days.only after 3wks den could i remember who was who. but now these kits are 1 month.. and boy can they run..

I also has problem identify my first 2 litters of BSH and SF as all 3 of my male BSH are blue and all my SF/SHH are blue silver spotted tabby. With subsequent litters I weigh my kittens every day. I can tell them apart by their weight, size/length, colour tone, pattern and features.
